How can i speed up my torrents?

I use bitlord and i have a 2mbps connection......but my torrents download at a speed of 2-10kbps..what can i do-:) Can sme1 help me

  1. Enable DHT & Peer Exchange in your bitclient for getting max. when downloading. (Enable DHT & Peer Exchange only when you are downloading from a ratio free site For eg: mininova.org)

    Note: Your download speed also depends upon the no. of seeders for that file.

    I recommend you to use utorrent as your bit client.

    And for checking your broad band speed visit:

    http://www. speedtest.net

    Also keep your upload & download limit as "unlimited"

    Offering more shares will speed up your torrents. The more you offer the faster your connections will become. Torrents are a two way street.

    You should also fine tune your Internet connection. Go to DSL reports and run a speed check then run the tweak test for ways to improve your speed.
