  1. Do not spend any of your money... at least at first.

First, sell your own c**p to get the hang of it. Just sell whatever you would normally put in a yard sale.

  2. You can get free training on how to make money on eBay from http://www.squidoo.com/free-ebay-trainin...

This free eBay training video is how to avoid the common mistakes eBay newbies usually commit.

You may not be aware of these errors but once you see them, you would soon find out why you don't get to earn much in eBay, even if the products you sell are worth buying.

  3. I've had much success buying and selling books and $50 is more than enough to get started.  A good example is that in May I went to a Lions Club book sale, where people donate books to raise funds for some good cause.  Anyway, hardcovers were $1 each and softcovers were 50 cents.  I spent $30 and so far I've only sold about 1/3 of the books I bought, yet I've already made a $100 in profit.  If you do this you might consider setting up an Amazon reseller account. There are no listing fees and the FVF is minimal.  I really, really like Amazon for this.  eBay is okay for books but Amazon is better.  Good luck!

  4. Unsure on what to sell, has to be an item that is very popular and always selling.  So you can do a search - advanced search and tick the box that says - has bids on it - that way it will only pull up items that have bids on them.  When your ready to start selling this website will help you heaps:  http://ebayingtoearnmoney.blogspot.com/
