  1. Have a girls night planned out once a week!

say sunday all you girls get together and bring suggary, yummy foods and pick a movie.

this is what me and my friends do, and plan to do threw out highschool so we stay intouch.

its super fun ,gossip, watch movies, eat snacks, talk, going in your pjs.

just talk to them every chance you get.

  2. true, its nice being with your friends on the first day and such, but later on since your friends are together, they are just going to cling to each other. They probably won't try too hard to make new friends. they aren't going to have opportunities like you to meet new kids. they are going to miss out on getting to know really great people. true, they are going to meet a few new people, but its much easier to stick with old friends then try to make new ones.

if you are randomly assigned locker partners, try getting to know him/her. i met my best friend in jr high, and we were random locker partners. just be friendly to people.. a lot of kids are in the same situation as you.

join lots of clubs! that way you can meet people who have the same interests as you.

you can still stay friends with your old friends. invite them and ask them to hang out with you whenever you can. you cant really help it if they become better friends without you. but you will meet a lot of people.

and dont worry, in the end all your old friends will be jealous because you have a really cool group of new friends! ;) jr high is hard, but its really great. it just takes a while to adjust to a new school and new teachers. i am sure you will be fine. good luck!

  3. You could ask to move to their classes, try to tell your principle or whoevers in charge that you'd prefer to be with your friends than make new ones.

If thats not possible, its fine cos you'll see them inbetween classes and you can hang out with them at lunch and at weekends and other times :]
