  1. have a binder  and put your homework in 1 folder and other stuff in another folder

  2. one way to stay organized is to used folders, binders, and dividers to keep papers organized. i would suggest maybe throwing away old papers that you won't need anymore or getting a file and putting them in there so you have more room in your backpack.

  3. Just be consistent.  Whatever you do, do it exactly the same way every time so you can trust that you'll be able to find things where you first try looking (or at least on the second try).

Get folders, not binders.  Binders are never set up the way you want, or how you are likely to be using things.  Have one folder for each of your classes to keep handouts, homeworks, etc in.  Be consistent about using the same folder for the same class.

Get several three subject spiral notebooks (at least one section per class).  Don't use the folders in them unless it's an emergency (like you don't have the correct folder with you at the moment).  Use the back of the notebook to write down your homework assignments, and put a due date on every homework assignment, so you know when you made the note.

Don't use an "assignment book" because you're going to lose it, or not have it with you or whatever.  It's safer to have your notes and assignments in the same spiral bound notebook, and just turn to the back when you are doing your homework.  Remember to read your past and present assignments list again and again so you don't forget anything.

Make sure your folders and notebooks are all different colors so you can recognize which is which easily.  And write the subject on the outside, so you can memorize which color goes with which subject by the end of the first week of school.

Tools, such as protractors, pens and pencils, pencil lead, calculator, etc should be in the outer pocket of your bookbag, and should be replaced there religiously.

Do a "sanity check" every weekend to make sure your stuff is all in the right place.  Try to avoid putting papers inside your textbook, but if you find papers in the wrong place, put them in the right place on the weekend.

Make yourself a checklist of things you need to do next week on the weekend too.  Read the checklist on monday, wednesday and friday and add things to it if necessary.  Keep the checklist in either your bookbag in its own pocket, or at the front of your favorite subject's folder.

Finally, reward yourself for every week that you stay organized.  Ask your parents to take you out for ice cream, or to stay out one hour later every time you finish organizing yourself and making a checklist on the weekend.  Or find some other reward to have whenever you've met your goals.

  4. have labeled folders, notebooks, and binders. organize your locker once every week. take more time concentrating on everything. If you're not organized, then you're not prepared. If you're not prepared, you will have a hard time learning. Also, you don't have to do this, a nicer look in clothes will make you want to learn more and is proven to make students concetrate more which would help you get into better colleges with better scholarships and more chances of good jobs.

  5. if u dont have one now...get something called a locker ladder ...u hang it up in ur locker and u can put ur books in it...get an accordian folder...it opens up and theres little sections for each subject....also... get a label maker...u'll  be able to get things faster than normal....try this site...it may help.

  8. do drugs.. seriously..

or if you're a funny guy, be funny (Y) works for me

  9. THIS IS WHAT I DO. EVERY NIGHT CLEAN OUT YOUR BOOK BAG AND ORGANIZED IT. THIS WAY THINGS WONT GET OUT OF HAND.

  10. You might try getting a 3-hole-punch and putting all of your papers in a binder ...

But for something with less trouble, try getting those 5-subject notebooks with pockets between the 5 sections.  In college those helped me stay organized - I just folded the papers that went with each subject and stuck them in the pockets.

  11. Get a binder, and get tabs, then mark each tab such as "homework" and another one "extra paper" and all your subjects too. Also get folders for the tabs you think you might get a lot of papers in.

At the beginning of class, take that binder out. Usually you can keep pencils in them too. Whenever the teacher hands out papers, always put them in the right tab spot. If they don't have holes in them (holepunched) then put them in the folder.

It seems dumb, but it really works. I like binders, and I'm extremely organized =P.

    Hope I helped ;].

PS. Once a week, if you are still having the paper overflow problem with your backpack, clean out your packpack, and smooth and put the papers in your binder and such.

  12. buy lots of folders and keep certain papers in them!

    labeling the folders helps too!

and cleaning out your backpack once a week can help too!

be sure to get rid of all of your old papers, graded tests, ect.

    good luck!

  13. Try to keep a folder for every subject, or a big binder where EVERYTHING goes. A good idea, which I have to do frequently, is go through/clean out your backpack every friday or so, to get rid of any papers you really don't need.

  14. i used to be the same way. this year I'm going to try to start early. try to get rid of the papers that you don't need anymore, instead of throwing them in your backpack. and try to close your notebooks and other things so that the pages dont get torn out. my school gives out planners. if your school dosen't try using a notebook to keep your homework and other events. or you could try to clean your stuff more often. i hope this helps. good luck.

  15. I get compliments at school for being so organized but that's just the way I grew up.I tend to organize un-organized peoples binders when I'm bored ahah but for a tip you can get those folder binders with tabs for each class. When you notice your papers start to get messy you should take some time at home and reorganize it again, that'll be helpful.Good Luck!

  16. get locker shelfs!! haha helped me alot.... XD Jade

also, keep all your binders in your locker and go to your locker and get the one you need for that class period. Also, think about carrying around a backpack or some kind of bag to put your things in, but stay organized! u could also just carry around one huge binder, and put folders in it for how ever mny classes you have. and put like 2 notebooks and notebook paper in it, also put in some pencils:
