How can i stop Lowell group taking too much money from my bank account?

I am paying off a debt to Lowell group, i rang & arranged that they take out £10 each week using my debit card. I have been looking at my statement online & they are taking out fivers willy nilly every few days. I can't cancel it as it's down as POS, not direct debit. Any1 know what i can do please?

Please read your agreement. They should takeout what you agreed. If you are not happy call them and ask to talk to the loan adviser. Tell him that you will cancel the card if they takeout more than you agreed. Then write a letter to Lowell group giving his name and time of the call.

Call your bank to cancel the card, and then speak to someone at Lowell group.

Ensure that you get a written agreement next time.

you need to phone your bank immediatly and inform them of unconsented withdrawals... after that you need to contact Lowell and inform them of your and their actions - and put into writing an agreed repayment schedule.

What they are doing is border line illegal - you need to inform them of this.

so get on the phone now...

Tell your bank if they don't stop it you are closing your account.  Get a new bank and don't allow anyone access to your account.  Close that checking account asap.
