How can i stop a member from deleting his message?

yes...group members can delete/edit their own messages but not other member's messages.

there is only one way to prevent members from deleting their own posts, and that's limiting access to the archives to members- which in turn affects web readers. if the archives were closed, no one could acess it to delete posts

yahoo allows members to delete their own posts and such because by rights, they own it, not the owner of the group. there is no setting to prevent this, sorry
