How can i stop bushing?

whenever i see this girl i start blushing. i cant help it. like one day we were talking about weezer and when i went to the bathroom my face was all red. how can i stop blushing? i just wanna have a normal friendship with this girl but if im blushing all the time it will get awkward. is there anything i can say to cover up for it or what am i gona do?

It's a reflex you learned long ago in response to some sort of personal discomfort (probably with girls, or maybe with anyone you might find attractive or interesting)... it'll take some re-learning to fix it if that's what you'd like to do... although I'd suggest reconsidering that if it's the case.

It's not *hard* to do, but this time it'll be conscious leaning instead of just absorbing stuff, so it'll take a *lot* longer than the original learning did... and don't be afraid to get some help if you think you'll need it.  It's out there for the taking.

No, if you blush when she's around, whether you deny it or accept it, you want more than friendship.  You think she's cute or you like her.  When your blushing it shows your nervous and what to have a good impression.  If she's just a friend you wouldn't care so much.  Either that or your still nervous to talk to girls.
