How can i stop child support?

how can child support be stopped. I having paid child support thru a garnishment for my son he how is 18 and has graduated. My ex wife has been getting his support thru an military allotment.She has it were it does not go thru a support agency it goes directly to her. So both states that the case has gone thru have closed the files.So what do I have to do to get the garnishment to stop. along with getting the last 3 months of support back.thanks for your help

  1. If your son is going to college, you still have to pay.  If he's not, you can get him emancipated.  That may take an attorney in your area.  That should stop it, but I don't know about getting back what shouldn't have been paid.

  2. Call your sons and see if he is going to college.  If he is then you still owe support.  You must not have been voluntary paying support so you had your wadges garnish.  You may owe back support for the months that you didn't pay

  3. stop the allotment.

  4. If it's military then you need to be going through them to get it stopped. Go to a lawyer or justice of the peace to get further answers on reimbursement.
