When i am watching a movie, it could be at the movie theaters, at the house on the tv, or even on my computer. it doesn't matter where i still flinch. The point where i always flinch at, is when something pops out at you, or something like that. When i look around i see no one else has flinched, and that embarrasses me. It makes me feel like a wimp, not being able to control it. I even tried closing my eyes when i feel that there is gonna be a point when something or someone pops out, and i still flinch. I don't how. This makes me feel irregular from everyone else. I don't flinch when some one is throwing a punch at me, when were playing around. I think my brain knows not to flinch, but my body does not know. It happens like its, paranoid. Does anyone know how to control there flinching and not flinch during movie?

  1. Stop watching movies that make you have that reaction.  Sounds like your mind is dreading the part coming up in the movie so it's already anticipating the reaction before the part.  (I bet everyone else is flinching too)

  2. People often Flinch when they are Nervous or having Anxiety i would Talk to a professional and ask what they think you should do. it sounds like you might have an Anxiety Disorder since you mentioned you are worried about people notice that you are flinching

  3. You could have  lack of Iron, and or other vitamins.  That makes you scared more easily. just go to your local drug store and buy some B 12,

    E, D, and C. =]
