Everytime I go for a run i get a blister on my foot. It's near the side of the foot, under the arch.

I got about 4 blisters there and now when i go for a run the skin there just goes red and it hurts like a blister.

How can i stop getting them?

  1. soak your feet in epson salts. Epson salts  just about cures everything you can think of !

  2. Put bandaids on the places that typically get blisters, and wear thick socks.

  3. get different shoes or wait til your feet get used to it and callous

  4. you could wear actual running socks..

how old are your shoes? too old? or are you still breaking them in? maybe your shoes are too tight for your foot..

it could be the way that you're running. are you a new runner?

do you have really sweaty feet?

yeah i've been getting blisters too. always on the inside of my arch.

  5. 1- Don't wear cotton socks.  There are "running socks" available at sporting good stores, that more efficiently wick away moisture

2- Make sure the socks you're wearing are clean.

3- Your shoes may not be fitting properly allowing your foot to slide around during your stride.

4- Get some "Blister Shield/Sports Shield".  Works like a lubricant to reduce friction.

Right now, you're going to have to stop for a few days to let the areas heal up and callous.
