Question:

How can i stop getting daily e-mails from yahoo groups that are pushing porno web cams i report them as spam?

every day i get at least one invite to join a porno web-cam group i report it as spam and have been doing that for over 4 monthes now but they continue to come daily ,, i've looked for any type of link to ask yahoo for help but everything i've tired was useless does anyone know how to stop this internal spam created by yahoo groups seeing that yahoo doesn't seem to be able to stop it or maybe they just don't care ,, i have my filters set to maximum blocking but that doesn't seem to help at all either ,,,,,,, any help from anyone would be fantastic

  1. believe it or not, some people join those groups and it's not against TOS to send invites, regardless of topic. you can stop all invites being sent to you with the link below- you wont get any adds (which is a good idea for everyone to set that) or invites

  2. Leave any groups you may have joined for better administered ones.  Alot of the spam senders get your address by joining groups you're in. Groups also have an email option. Make sure these are set to no email if you decide to not leave the group.

    You can always just make a new yahoo account as well, and not join any groups.

  3. Sign into Yahoo Groups, then go into a group and click "Edit Membership" (close to top of the page, in the center), then go down to "Message Delivery"

  4. unfortunately you are not alone. yahoo encourages the spam by having the address for owners and moderators directly below the group's page.  I receive 10-25 each day.    Onewould think it violates their guidelines but good luck.
