How can i stop getting nits?

I know how to get rid of them but how can i avoid gotting them again

they have a shampoo called x-pel  that you can use everyday(it's all natural) makes your hair soft too..but it kinda smells like glue. if you use alot of moose or gel the nits can't stick to the hair. you really need to get rid of the problem first and make sure to vaccum the floors beds even the car...put stuff animals in bags for 2 weeks.. wash bed linens in hot water. soak hair brushes in hot water with bleach ( i would throw them out and get new ones) make sure the kids don't share hats jackets or anything with people at school and tell them not to hug their friends shake their hand instead

My daughter recently got lice from a friend of hers at school. I spent hours on end cutting each strand of hair that had a nit on it. Then I checked her hair thoroughly every day until I couldn't find anymore. It was a pain in the butt but it was the only way I felt sure that the lice wouldn't come back. Can you find someone to help you do this to your hair?

proberly not! you can get some sprays that app they dont like... or mayb spraying your hair with perfume? gd luck!

some of these answers are just shocking! you can get them many times if you have the means. there is no limit firstly!secondly go to your pharmacy. they sell a repellant spray that smells lovely to us, but awful to nits and lice. or you could apply vinegar after washing hair. this helps keep them away.
