How can i stop insects from coming through the window air conditioning unit?

Shade buy a tube of caulk and go outside at night looking for light coming thru cracks around AC unit.  Fill all cracks with caulk.  This will stop insects from coming in.

Seal it up good on the outside. They can't come in from the inside of the window unit.

Make sure there is foam insulation all around the unit that slides into the case, if not get some weather stripping and push all the cracks full.

Also make sure all around the outside of the unit is properly sealed.
