Question:

How can i stop jogging trousers from shrinking in the wash?

I wash them at 40 degrees and don't put them on a fast spin but the blinking things seem to lose about 2 inches in length with every wash!

  1. Either don't buy 100% cotton or air dry them.  My dryer has an air dry setting so I can tumble dry stuff with no heat.  You can also stretch them when they are wet, just pull the legs longer.  It seems to help mine.


  2. Wash in cold water and hang to dry, stretching them slightly to compensate for shrinkage.

  3. hang dry them - it's the dryer that is shrinking them, not the wash
