  1. Hey, I also used to have an eating disorder and I know how difficult it is to recover. The decision to get over your anorexia is a hard one to make so congratulations on taking the first step! Getting out of your anorexia mindset is going to be tough. Once you've been bitten by the eating disorder bug it's really difficult to start thinking normally about food again.

Try focusing your attention and efforts in a positive way. You obviously want to have a good body, but instead of worrying about the amount of food you're ingesting, focus on healthy ways to keep your body looking great. Make an exercise plan, and eat foods that are good for you so you feel less guilty about eating them. Replace crackers with fruits and vegetables.

I made the decision to stop letting my eating disorder run my life three years ago and I still find myself being an obsessive calorie counter. You may not ever fully get over it, but just don't let it take control of you! If you're really worried about your calorie intake try planning out your meals in advance. Try to take in the amount of daily calories that is healthy for your body mass. Eating disorders are all about control, so at least if you have your meals planned out then you maintain that semblance of control. That way the cracker you're worried about eating becomes just a part of your daily planned out food plan.

Definitely try to eat healthy. I know how guilty you feel when you eat something that you wish you hadn't! So just stick to foods that won't make you regret eating them!

Again congratulations on taking the first step. Beating an eating disorder is a long and arduous process, best of luck to you! Remember that you only live once so treat your body right!

  2. This is something you need to talk about with a doctor or therapist.

  3. Anorexia is a hard disease, most of the time it has its roots on something else. Maybe you think you are strong enough to fight it on your own, but if in three months you haven't been able to then, what are the chances you will in the future. The best advice I can give you is to go to a psychologist to first figure out why you are having these behaviors, and afterwards if you are still having problems, ask for help, there are many clinics and support groups that will help you, remember that all problems are easier to solve when you are not alone.

  4. eat you idiot

  5. Get to a doctor, they can help you.

    Most importantly, a psychiatrist.

No, it doesn't mean you're crazy

    they really help!

  6. i think u should talk to a doctor too...but some ways you can eat normally is

    1. hiding your scale

2.gradually work up to eating normal(maybe one additional serving a day)

    3. tell yourself you are allowed 2500 calories a day and that one cracker is usually only 20 calories

4.this sounds kinna cheesy but...instead of trying to loose weight, work on your inner beauty and let that be seen by people, because after a while physical things like weight and looks will get boring and its on the inside that really, really matters

  7. Anorexia is a serious illness, and should not be taken as lightly as to ask Yahoo for advice. You need a professional.

  8. dont worry. your not that bad. i weigh 105 lbs and im 5'2 its not that bad. just think of it this way. each time you think you loose 1 calorie. eat a lot of things that are small. just eat a lot of them. get help as in support groups or your family. ask them to monitor you to MAKE you eat. 3 months isnt that bad. i hope you get better

  9. Anorexia is a very complex mental disease, people suffer with this for years and years and that is even with the right professional help.

I was suffering from an eating disorder from the age of 13 and although I am healthy now I still have to be very careful how I am treating my body.

I am now 25 years old and still although not physically so much but mentally battling my own demons on a daily basis ( although I make sure I always win these battles).

You need the support of people that love you and care about you and also the support of people that treat eating disorders specifically not just any old shrink because not all of them understand the disease like those who specialise in this area.

Win the battle mentally and you will be able to work against the disease physically as you are slowly winning the battles.

Good luck sweetheart and don't stop fighting!

....and ignore those stupid people telling you just to eat...it's not that simple! thats like telling someone who is suffocating involuntarily to breathe!

  10. smoke pot

  11. you really should join a support group.. there are many people suffering from the same thing and it will help you deal with your fears if you can speak to and listen to other people who have gone through the same things as you are going through now..

    good luck!!!

  12. Realizing you have a problem with it is a big step, so you have come this far.  Don't give up.  Seek professional help, or someone you really trust.  Sometimes just talking with someone can really help.  Try to figure out why you feel the way you do.  Find out what the normal weight range is for your height and build and make it a goal to stay within that range, instead of something unrealistic and unhealthy.  Good luck!

  13. Oh Lord hun...go see a doctor to discuss how you are feeling. Usually situations like this require professional help to assist you with how you perceive yourself in your mind. You may also require counselling. Seems you really want the help so take the first step by seeing professional and the support of loved ones (family friends) your situation can not be easy. I feel for you

All the best of luck, God bless x p.s please ignore the second and third answer this is no laughing matter!!!! (idiots)

  14. try talking to a psyciatrist... i know it sounds drastic, but its good to try to stop it before it gets too serious.  also try eating snacks inbetween meals if you cant eat too much at a time.

  15. look up a website on anorexic people...make for sure there is pictures and then maybe you will change your mind

  16. You need to get to a doctor asap! I know a girl who died last month from anorexia her heart stoped in her sleep...Go to a doctor its not worth loseing your life over.
