ive had my budgie for about 3 years now... and im nice to him and i feed him all the time and i give him love... but everytime i put my hand near him while he is in his cage... he bites me really hard and he wont let go! cuz i put my finger under his belly so he will step up onto it and i can take him out of his cage so he can get his exercise. and when he DOES step up, and i start to take him out of his cage... he jumps off... and then if i try again... he bites me REALLY hard. So i have to lightly grab him and take him out while he screeches.

Once i get him out... he is VERY nice! i can get him to step up on my finger all that i want w/o him biting me! hes so nice outside of his cage... but when hes in it... hes mean...

What can i do to stop him from biting me?? Please help! =]]

Thanks!
