  1. you may have to give away one of them:or separate them most of the time.sorry to tell you like this:the smaller dog will end up dead.

Please give it away.I have a very small and stubborn dog, but, he is the boss of the big dog!of course, the big dog we have, is much younger, and its OK,she does not challenge the little monster!

  2. Both those puppies are dominant, tenacious breeds.

Neither one is going to give up on anything very often.

A pecking order will eventually be established but it will be through several knock down, drag out , bloody battles. The JRT will lose but may get badly hurt before he gives in. The Cane will win because of weight and jaw strength.

As they are still puppies, I would seperate them when feeding and handing outtreats etc. or one will always be doing without - the larger pup will win.

Why did you decide to pick these 2 breeds as room mates?

I have Jacks but i feel sorry for yours.

  3. Only give dogs treats in their own crates - more fights over dog bones, food or other treats than you can imagine.

  4. It usually happens with most dogs. What you could do is when you go to give your dogs the bone, you could put them in separate rooms. Or when you give them bones, if she finishes hers before the jack's then when she goes to get the jacks spank her and give her hers. If that doesn't work I would suggest the separate rooms.
