If you didn't want an affectionate pet,then a cat is not for you.I'm sure there are alot of people out there that would love to have her...lol.Cats are affectionate,loving,people oriented animals.They thrive on attention and rightly deserve it.If you don't want her rubbing all over you,maybe you should find her a new home.

    Cats will rub against their owner, follow them about & be really affectionate when they want something, usually TLC or food.

  13. I think that you mean that your cat is too affectionate. That's not quite the same as flirting... If your cat is too affectionate, try ignoring him/her. The cat will get the message eventually. It's nice when a cat "wuvs" you, but I can see how it could get annoying when it won't leave you alone. Give it something else to focus on: toys, scratching post, a new bed. If the cat isn't spayed/neutered, that's another thing that could solve your problems; may be misplaced romantic interests.
