Whenever i get into a difficult conversation with someone , or an argument where i get angry or feel slightly guilty, i start crying when i don't feel sad or need to cry atall! and it gives people the wrong impression of me, as i am not sensitive atall. I only get it with family and people i know that arent friends (teachers ect). It can be very embarassing, and i have to look/walk away in a argument.

  1. if it occurs during anger then learn to control your emotions. you should practice with your family member, argue about someone or something that could possibly get you angry, then be comfortable in that state of anger and learn to control your emotion and maybe the adrenaline that causes the tears, but that way it doesn't happen outside.

  2. I have that problem too. I changed the way I argue so I don't get so emotional, so instead of getting extremely worked up when shouting at them, I will simply speak it, focus hard on your point and tell yourself not to give in. It's all in the way you think about it, and keep your breathing normal. Hope this helps =]

  3. I have the same problem, your not the only one.

You just don't like arugueing. Thats all.

Besides, life is too short for arguments.

  4. You obviously don't like conflict - neither do I. You do right to walk away. Some folk thrive on it, others don't. Don't be embarrassed by it. It is good that you do not have that type of personality.

    Best wishes. UK

  5. bite your lip or the inside of your cheek.

  6. You should learn to control your emotions and to do that you need to change your approach when having an argument or point of difference. To do that again you have to learn to be less reactive and more pro-active. So, the only thing you should then do is to change within yourself. Hard at first but with time you will see no more tears and just a more emotionally intelligent person.
