how can i keep it from getting frizzy without using all that anti-frizz goop that's so gross? also, when i straighten it (i have a flat iron) some parts stay wavy, and i think its just because I'm really bad at it. how can i get better? is it just practice makes perfect or does anyone have tips to make it easier?

  1. Alright well here are a few tips that have helped me:

    1) Wash your hair with a moisturizing shampoo like Hello Hydration by Herbal Essences or Thermal Recovery by Tresseme.

    2) Spray your hair with a heat protector like Aussie Smooth spray, any one will do! :)

    3) If you are willing to you can comb through some straightening/anti-frizz cream there is not goopy. There are a few i have tried one by Alberto (made for straightening), and my favourite is one by Chi, but it is more expensive (still can be found at like Walmart though!)

    4) Let your hair air dry for a bit to reduce damaging your hair further with a blow dryer for a long time!

5)Blow dry your almost dry hair until it is COMPLETELY dry. Do not leave your hair damp.

    6) Divide your hair into numerous sections maybe 4 or 5 for average hair. Straighten one section at a time.

    7) Spray your hair with some hairspray to keep it straight. One like Garnier that adds shine, but doesn't get hard.

It also helps to have a good hair straightener!

    Best of luck♥

  2. use a heat protecting product, then divide hair into sections and straighten. then use hair serum or hairspray to keep it from being frizzy. look for anti frizz products.

  3. I have naturally curly/wavy hair and have given up and just gone wavy. Anti frixzz gunk is truly awful. Just go au natural girl!

  4. Don't dry your haIr wIth a regular towel. Use paper towel, but don't use napkIns. It helps dry your haIr wIth out pullIng up all the frzz.

It also helps me to rInse my haIr wIth cold water before I get out of the shower. Also It helps me to use a "frIzz-ease" haIr spray that Is really lIght. Hope thIs helps.

  5. maybe its ur straightener? buy a better one so u'l spend less time on ur hair. cuz theres really no wrong way of doing it. u run the straightener through ur hair a couple 3 times and it should be straight. and well the frizz u kind of do need the anti frizz "goop" lol try some hair serum after ur done to calm flyaway hairs. or try some straightening balm before u straighten it. or u could try a tiny tiny tiny bit of coco butter. its really oily so run it through ur ends first as if u were tieing ur hair and then run it to the ends and watevers left on the top of ur hair. same goes for all other oily products like hair serum and all that
