  1. a really good way that girls on my squad stretch for jumps is to spread your legs apart and squat down as if you were sitting on a toilet, and go down as low as you can, also, try sitting in splits and pikes

stretch during commercials if you watch tv a lot

  2. i used 2 b in cheer leading and 2 practice my jumps and stretch my legs i would come home and use the back of a chair 2 push up on and jump and spread my legs as far as possible 2 legs stretches the most the more flexible u r the farther ur legs wil go up when u jump and idk if u can do splits but u should go down and keep bouncing until u reach the floor it really helps with flexibility 2.... and here goes a cheerleadin workout ta go by!

  3. well to do it splits my cheer coach just says to sit on the floor and one at a time put on leg out and try to put your nose to your knee. Also stand up and put your leg on something [like a dresser or table] and try to get your knee to touch the floor [the one that isn't on the table, dresser, etc.] my friend cheer for a different squad and her cheer coach makes them stack pillows and sit on them like your doing a split. And each day take one off.

For jumps i would first start on a trampoline. If you dont have one then make sure you get the motins down, without jumoing. Then just practice jumping high. The put the jump and motions together..

    practice,practice,practice

    good luck

  4. cheerleading is stupid, nobody pays attention to you anyways. you're just going to end up getting hurt like every other cheerleader.

  5. pratice and pratice and pratice

  6. ok first of all that dude who says nobody pays attention to you is STUPID.......but anyways :] i've been in cheerleading since 2nd grade and im in 10th so take my advice! for toe touches, hurkeys and hurdlers go to a wall and try doing the splits against it..your stomach should be facing the wall and your legs should be stretched out and pushed against the wall. pikes: sit down and touch your toes. pointed and not pointed. **dont bend your legs** try reaching for the arch of your foot when you do this. stretch this every night! i promise it will work! o ya! a couple more things.................crunches, v ups and plank holds help your jumps SO MUCH!!!! you need those muscles! if this is too confusing or you dont know what something is or you want more ways to help everything just email me!
