How can i study easily for tests/exams without being distracted?

techniques? dont you dare say go read a book, it doesnt get in my head! i wanted to thrash the class with my test score. i am highly competitive!

I turn my books in to songs or peoms. READ BOOKS, but instead of silent reading, try singing the words in your head.

take notes on the subject,  read into tape recorder... then go sit somewhere quiet and listen to the tapes... or go for jog or run... wherever you can repeat out loud what you hear on the tapes... some people just have to hear it to remember.

also, listen to it while you're laying in bed, ready for sleep... a lot of info can be absorbed while you're that relaxed... and good luck! i'm competitive TOO!

don't read a book? ok, well, maybe if you are an audible learner, go take a walk and just say facts.   flash cards, maybe just do worksheets, you know, hands on stuff, not copy and paste lame notes out of a textbook.
