  1. im trying to study too....ugh im so nervous...people say its easy but you can never really kno what they are going to put on the test...its the same format every year but its diffrent articles and stuff....and they make it so you dont understand everyword on it....good luck...:]

  2. i have the test 2day too and i started watching regents prep on demand (1111)

    it wasnt helpful at all

they could hardly speak spanish themselves!

    i havent even studied! ahhhhhhhhhhh

  3. the best thing you can do is study the most common verbs and their conjugations in present, preterit, future, and imperfect tenses, like hacer, tener, comer etc. As long as you ve been following the regular vocab during the year, u shouldnt really need to study the nouns. Remember when you do the writing part, dont get stuck on one way to write something. Think of things that you definetly know how to say and incorporate them into the essays. It doesnt matter how you write it and it can sound like a 5 year old wrote it. As long as you do what it asks. Good Luck

  4. i think the best way to go is to study phrases and endings. and maybe some vocab. just basic nouns that would help you do writing.

im taking the regents tomrw too [yikes!]

    good luck! :]

  5. The spanish regents is extremely easy and is 70 percent multiple choice, 10 percent short-answer (2 100 word paragraphs) and 20 percent verbal (which you should have covered earlier on.)

As long as you can read spanish, and take away the meaning of what it's telling you, you'll be able to pass.

I got a 92 on it because I didn't do one of the two short-answers. Don't stress about it =).

  6. hey =]

i'm also taking the spanish regents tomorrow. and what i did was i took like 3 regents. and its really not too hard. it is actually pretty simple.

i'm probably going to review preterite, imperfect, present and future tense because you need to know those to do the compositions. so if you're not totally comfortable with those, i guess you could review them.

    good luck tomorrow! =]

  7. i have this test also...in about 2 hours. Just relax...don't psych yourself out too much.

I find that when i'm writing in spanish, i tend to be more elaborate than i would actually be in english!

just keep it nice and simple.

When listening to the teacher try to make connections to latin and english. Like every word has some type of connection.

    ex. creer---to believe or to think...like a a "creed" (a belief)

or make random connections...like hablar to speak

its a "habit" to speak or i do it often. So habit-hablar

dont overthink it. If u can catch a few words out of a question (significant words) then go from there...

    good luck to you.
