  1. Well there is a lot of things you can do.

    1) Sign up for Dynamics of Selling Class https://ftp.scic.com/RegASPX/Schedule/Co... Excellent class, worth every penny

    2) Start Networking with people. If you are a retail agent, start networking with Farmers, State Farm and Allstate people. Get the business that they can't write

    3) Sign up for BNI http://www.bni.com/

    4) Buy Leads. A few good sources www.netquote.com or www.quotemeinsurance.com

    5) Direct mailing.

    6) Buy yourself a book "guerilla marketing"

  2. i think u must study the customer requirement and give more benefit to them which other company don't..

  3. Better interpersonal relationship .

  4. Get business cards and as you talk with customers, tell them,

"As you know, we are a sales office, and if you liked your service I would really appreciate any referrals you can give me."

Then send thank you cards for people who referred you customers.

Also, remember things about people's lives and always always use service (like when customers call to change something on their policy) as an opportunity to "go over their policies with them real quick."  This gives you an opportunity to sell them something they may not have.

  5. Find a "mentor" someone who has been around a long time and will be willing to take you under his/her wing. This is the best way to learn, grow and start to succeed in insurance.
