  1. You could use VLC Media Player. Get it here:

    http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

When you're watching the movie and it comes to the shot you want click Video and then Snapshot and it will save the image.

  2. It might not work but go on the part of the pic you need and press the prtscr (print screen) button and paste it on a programme like paint delete the parts you don't need like the toolbar n stuff and save it

  3. Install Gomplayer, right click on player for menu, you see

    Conrol Panel (F7)

Click Control Panerl or press F7.

Now you can make your screen captures of the dvd you are watching. You do not even have to pause or stop dvd.

Gomplayer is free and does play all file types, DVD, CD, Audio

just go to preferences   -- others  --   select all

    File Types   -   Codec

  4. On a standard keyboard theres a button located at the top of the keyboard titled "Prnt Scrn".

You will need to press this button to take a screenshot, then open Microsoft Paint, (START -> Run -> Type : mspaint) Then Edit and paste the image there.

    Sorted :)

  5. Press Print Screen (it should be located somewhere near the top right hand side or when keyboard)  and then paste into a picture editing programme
