more details please! would india allow me to take my african grey?...would they let me take him if i gave my health certificate?...

There are two things you must do you must get clearnce from the US Gov to take the bird out. Then you must get Clearnce to take the bird into India.. Contact the imgration office of both countries to find out the process. A friend tried to take his bird to russia and that was over one year ago, they are still setting here in the US wait to leave the country. Good luck

Remember these guys are on the endangered list of animals, so you will have to jump through a lot of hoops. But it can be done.
