  2. When I started to learn spanish,

my teacher had a tape with a VERY catchy jingle of the spanish alphabet. I still remember it exaclty.

Maybe you could find something like that.

  3. go over it every day. and when you go over it have her repeat it after you. you might even want to make a game out of it.

  4. I hate to break it to ya, but English and Spanish have the same alphabet. A=A, B=B, etc.

  5. Do you know the alphabet or are you learning along with your daughter?  If you already know it yourself, then I would suggest chanting it with her everytime she washes her hands after toileting.  It's repititious; but eventually she'll learn it and will start chanting it along with you.

Another thing I found handy was music for learning Spanish http://www.songsforteaching.com/spanishs...

    Hope that helps

  6. teach it to her in song

  7. I would start by finding flash cards with the Spanish alphabet for her.  Also, letting her watch shows like Dora the Explorer or Go Diego Go will let her see how Spanish is used by kids like her.  You can also find books that come in bilingual form, that is, English with Spanish translation.  Look for nursery rhymes, classic stories or even newer stories that are like this.  Children learn by repetition, so try to read her a book or ever record some episodes so she can what them over and over.  She will probably be able to pick up on the words and their meanings.  Below are some websites to check out some things.  Hopes this help you in teaching your daughter the Spanish alphabet.

  8. yeah when I learned Spanish alphabet i used flash cards and I found ways to remember the alphabet!!!!

    GOOD LUCK!

  9. Music and interactive games are your best bet. I suggest  "memory" or "bingo." Through these games your child will see the symbol/letter and hear the name at the same time. Which will be great for her to experience. Once she learns the names of the letters you can replace it with the the sounds that the letter makes while you place these games.  Here is an awesome website that will help your child in yet another interactive way. when you get to it click on Spanish Curriculum. It will cover not just the alphabet in Spanish but also shapes, colors, and numbers, etc.
