How can i teach my kitten to drink out of its water bowl if the kitten has no mother???

I had a Mother cat we gave her to the vet because a dog broke her leg and they had to remove it..the vet said that we had to put her to sleep because it was badly invected. So now im stuck with 3 four week old ,ittens and i cant seem to teach them how to dink water form the water bowl. PLEASE HELP ME ANYONE!

Your kittens are not kids.  I know you think they are, but they aren't.  This is in the wrong forum.

This would really be for the pet section, but thats ok.

When my kittens started drinking water, I just put the bowl right next to their food, they got interested, and soon they just started drinking it.

put some on your finger so they learn to l**k and then try the water bowl

I hope you put this question in the cat section as well. And I hope that dog was given away for hurting the cat.

They might drink when you aren't looking. Sometimes they do that. I've raised kittens from birth a few times. You have to get a relatively shallow bowl & fill with water. Put the kitten up to it, kind of let it see the water. You might have to use a dropper if they absolutely won't drink at all. Definitely call a vet to ask as well. I wish you luck.
