How can i teach my self new fighting skills and build my strength in 5days?

  1. That is a tough thing to do...you could pick up some techniques from a qualified teacher, but increasing strength in five days will be almost impossible. And if you push too hard trying to improve in that short span you could do more damage(excessive muscle soreness, for example). It takes 4-6 weeks of progression to really see strength improvements that will translate to the ring or octagon. Take this event as a learning experience and vow to be prepared next time out. Attack your weaknesses and make them your strengths! Good luck!


  2. Learn muay thai. Private lessons if possible. It will be well worth it.

    Failing that, buy a muay thai DVD or go to youtube.com and search muay thai.

  3. Yea, I kind of go with some of the other guys, of course your options are limited by your finances.  If you have the money, get a Muay Thai Kru to coach you for five very long days.

    Another option is available, for $2000 you can spend 4 days with the man who was featured on the "Perfect Weapon" show twice, you will pick up much fitness and work very hard in these four days.  You will need day 5 to recuperate.

  4. Why do you need to learn something that takes MOST people 10 years or more to master in just 5 days??  Maybe you would also like to learn Open Heart Surgery over the next 2 weeks??? ha ha ha....

    You better be R-E-A-L-I-S-T-I-C here.....Learning ANYYYYY of the martial arts requires a LIFETIME COMMITTMENT to staying healthy, working out 2-3 times a week, weight training, self-discipline and maturity. Who do you think you are fooling? Are you planning to get into a fight in the next 5 days? My advice to you is don't EVEN START training in ANY of the martial arts now, because you probably DO NOT have the COMMITTMENT it takes. When you are committed to practicing and training for at least 3-5 YEARS then start. The dojo's and dojangs are FILLED with guys like you who thought they could become Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris or Steven Seagall overnight. I am not saying you won't learn something in 5 days....but it will probably be just enough to build your confidence to the point that someone is going to kick your butt in a streetfight. Until you are ready to committ yourself to the training regiment it will take I suggest you strengthenyour LEG MUSCLES learn how to run faster or AVOID trouble in the first place. Good LUCK !!!

    Make sure you at least stretch a lot and meditate.

    Gotta be supple and calm.

  6. watch heeps of martial art kung fu movies with people like bruce lee, jackie chan, jet li, tony jaa and after watching all there fight scenes over and over again and practicing them in your head and pretending to fight people you will pretty much learm it yourself.
