He runs in fornt of cars but i have got him to lay down when i come and its very easy for me to back up and drive off without warning about him.

But the problem lies with my older brother my dad and his gf. not putting there share efforts in.

  1. you can start your training with praise and scold. You know, when your dog do good thing, you say "good dog", or else and pet it. And when your dog does bad things, you say "bad dog!" with angry voice and angry face. Don't kick or slap it. Your dog should be more nicer that way. And if you want to train it to sit or else, just make them sit along saying "sit". Do this a few times and you got a nice and smart dog.

  7. I would love to offer advice... but I don't understand what you're asking.

  8. Say what?

  9. I am the only one in my house that trains my dogs, and they all do just fine. If he is running in front of cars I would suggest putting up a fence, or putting him on a tie down in the yard.

  10. Teaching the dog yourself is one option. You can buy training books from pet stores and some book stores. Some sites like this one can help you too (http://www.dog-obedience-training-review... Another option is going to obedience school. Petco has many training program options. For more information on petco dog training visit their website at (http://www.petco.com/) or contact your local petco store.

  11. Spend more time with your dog.  Take him for a walk, let the dog learn to know you and your commands.  Reward him when he obeys and is learning the new command.  The rest of the family does not need to help out if the dog learns to only to listen and trust you.  Take time to teach him.  Give him the commands to sit, stay, lay down.  Your voice has to be authoritive.  Good luck!

  12. everytime he listens, reward him with a treat so he knows hes doing the right thing.
