How can i tel if my mitsubishi tv lamp is bad? read comments?

i removed the lamp today and noticed a white spot right in the middle of the bulb. does this mean it is bad, or is it suppoused to look this way?

if the brightness is dull especially aroung the edges. if it only looks bright in the middle then yes, u probably need to replace the bulb.

If you put it back in, will it come on? If so, it's ok. If you put it in and get a LAMP LED blinking then its no good.
