How can i tell a friend that i like her?

my friend from elementary school is going to my new high school and i havnt really talked to her much...i only have one class with her. she and i met in the summer and she said that her only friends were me and this girl twice our age! but now the second day of school...she has sat and made friends (i think). but how can i tell her that i like her?

Start hanging around with her and when you have gotten to know her and if you still like her, just tell her. She's too shy to make a move. Anyways guys are kind of expected to make the first move.

Always look her straight in the eye, SMILE, and say hi when you see her. Ask her to introduce you to her friends. If she has a much older friend she is probably getting coached by her how to deal with people at school. Not only that, she is getting self-confidence from the outside relationship.
