How can i tell if he is sincere with his feelings or just pretending so that i will fall for him?

there is this hot popular guy in my year all the girls like him. i like him too but i don't give him all the attention other girls do because i guess i did not have a chance with him lately he has been flirting with me winking at me whenever i look at him. he asked me could he sit beside me for class.

one class i ignored him well i mean i was paying attention to the class and not looking at him and he kept calling my name when the teacher had to go out for a minute

what's going on with him why is he trying to get my attention so

this new girl started in our class and he keeps saying oh she is fine in front of the class. then we were in language class and the teacher asked me what do you like as in food i did not know how to say it in french and then he said she likes me i nearly died of embarrassement the whole class laughed

You know what it is ...he just LOVES attention. Thats why he sounds so comfortable to talk and say stuff like that in front of the class..he loves attention! and thats something you are not giving him so thats whats bothering him. Now, his purpose is to prove to himself and maybe to others that he CAN, if he wants to, get YOUR attention...because i mean WHY NOT?? he has all this other girls after him...in his head he just thinks..."what makes YOU different?? " listen I know this is going to be hard for you to accept and maybe you are not going to believe it until you live it...but it looks like he is just trying to play with your head...when he gets what he wants he will forget you... From what you say  sounds like high school kids...welll at HIS AGE, boys dont settle so easily especially when they have so mane girls after them. SO if you just want to play and BE PLAYED then go for it...if you are a little more serious and respect yourself..then i would advise you to stay away ;) hope you make the best decision !!!

Well...I'm afraid I have some unpleasant news for you.  Your friend, Mr. Popular, is paying you this attention because you are not doing what the other girls do----fall all over him.

Some people would call it insincere, I call it plastic.

Either way...don't let him talk you into anything....he is just playing the field.
