is it true that tha RAM has to be compatible in speed with tha motherboard ?

how can i tell ?

where is tha speed in tha motherboard and where is tha speed in tha RAM to identify ?

1)Chk out the Motherboard cover  when u bought it

or

2)google the Motherboard model...u will get the specifications of RAM supported

or

3)chk out the motherboard details at manufacturer's website

Yes if you have windows vista. If you put more RAM, you can see the processor subscore goes up, RAM oprate goes up, Aero, and 3d gaming.
