It can be really hard to tell which are winter whites and which ones are campbells.  A lot of hamster forums (like hamster hideout or  hamster heaven) have spots where you can post a pic of your  hamster, and a breeder or someone else who really knows hamsters will usually be able to tell what kind you have.
