How can i tell if there is a reserve on an item on ebay?

i don't want to know the actual reserve price, i just want to know if there is one.

would it say under the bid blank(where you type in your bid)

if not how can i know?

  1. You would have to place your bid. If your bid is over the reserve price that's been set, it will go through just like a regular bid. If your bid is under the reserve price, you will see a message saying "Sorry, your bid did not meet the reserve price that has been set by the seller".

    In either case, you will not know what the reserve price is.


  2. well next to the price at the very top it'll say reserve not yet met in parathesis in red next to the price

    if there's reserve and it has met itll say reserve met

    i guess that part is irrelevant to your question
