  1. Don't have s*x until you're 18. Don't ask your mom to get you on birth control.

  2. well if you have acne or your periods are weird or there painful you can ask her if you can go on birth control for that b/c it can help...also if your still going to have s*x and not take ne ones advice about staying a virgin which I think someday you will wish you would have been a virgin till you were older but ne who just so you know sometimes taking BC it can take 2-3 months for it actually to work and even then just note that it is still not 100% effective so use a condom!! I give you a little credit for trying to be protective...I am just so amazed at how young girls are when they start having s*x I was still like a kid at 14 its crazy...also I am seriously not trying to scared you but having s*x for the first time is painful and you might bleed! good luck I hope you change your mind! If not be careful!

  3. For one I appraise you for being 14 and wanting to be so responsible I would bring it up and tell her that you want to go on it to help with your monthly cycle. or just be out right honest with her tell her you don't want kids as a teenager you plan on waiting to have s*x but just incase you do want to have a good back up. If none of this works I want you to make sure he uses a condom although its not completely accurate least it is better than unprotected s*x and if you have unprotected s*x I want you to find the closest plan parenthood in your area and get the morning after pill you have 72 hours to take the pill but the sooner you take it the better off you are with it working. best of luck.

  4. Did you know that you can still get pregnant while you're on the pill?

If this is a guy you haven't even been able to introduce to your family, doesn't sound like you think he's good enough, are you sure you want to lose your virginity to him? If you were as mature and responsible as you think you are, then you would at least have the decency to introduce the boy you 'love' to your parents.

If you say to your mum 'I want to go on the pill so i don't get pregnant.' She will never let you out of the house again.

The only way to get her to put you on the pill is to lie, and tell her it's for a different reason.

If you think you might be going to have s*x soon, get some condoms.

And just so you know, you might think that you know everything at 14, but in 4 years time, you'll look back and see just how naive you really are. Don't do anything you'll regret. The pill does not prevent sexually transmitted diseases or aids. Being 14, your cervix is more likely to contract a disease than the cervix of someone older. Also, s*x at this age can lead to a damaged cervix, which increases the likelihood of cervical cancer. Just giving you the facts. A younger cervix is weaker in many respects.

  5. Tell her you are pregnant and when she freaks out tell her that's what you are trying to avoid and you need birth control!

  6. You really don't have to tell your mom you want to go on the pill (unless you need her to pay for it.) You can go to planned parenthood and they will help you get on the pill, You'll have to get an exam first and if everything looks good, then they will put you on the pill. You do have to pay for them, but it's pretty reasonably priced I think. And I think it's really great that you're thinking things through before you decide to go through with it.  Most don't. Just remember that the pill doesn't protect you against std's, so you really should use a condom too.  Planned parenthood will give them to you. If you really want to tell your mom, then you just need to tell her.  Tell her you have something important to talk to her about and you don't want her to say anything until you're finished. Make sure that you are clear what you want, maybe rehearse it a few times before you talk to her. Good luck!

PS- my aunt took me to planned parenthood when I was young. If you can't tell your mom, but know another adult that will help you, talk to them!

  7. Yes, you are to young to be having s*x. But, you are smart enough to know the consequences. I'm glad your willing to ask you mom for birth control, that shows maturity. Honestly though, I really doubt she will get you on any type of birth control at 14. You can go to family planning where they will give you the pill. Also, its not 100% effective so make sure he wears a condom. Your going to do what you want to do, but I will say one thing. 10 years down the road from now you will regret it. Give yourself time to enjoy your innocence.
