Everyone already gave good tips on finding your face shape, so I'll just give my two cents for finding types of glasses.

Best thing I did was go into a Market Optical (and here's hoping you have one around you), and I had them choose some frames for me. Most of the people that work there are really great at choosing frames that look great and balance you features and face shape. You don't have to buy from them, but it'll give you an excellent idea of what styles to look for. They might offer sunglasses too; I can't remember. But even if not, it'll still give you an idea for frame styles that you can look for in sunglasses.

The best way to determine the shape of your face is to get a dry erasemarker and pull all your hair back and then look in the mirror and draw your face in the mirror, then when you step back you will be able to see if your face is round, oval, square.  Then I would search online for the best sunglasses for each of the above face shapes.   Also if you can't tell have someone else look at what you drew and ask them what they see!!!

Pull your hair back and look in the mirror and then take a bar of soap to outline your face.  When you step back you will be able to see if you are oval, etc.

that's  a great chart! Go by that . A fuller face can use a smaller glasses frame. An oblong , oval, can use a bigger square shape. A round needs a square, small shaped glasses. Sometimes, you can just tell by how comfortable you feel about it when looking in the mirror. If you think the glasses are too much, like the tear drop glasses, then try another kind.

first of all you can tell the shape of your face by looking in the mirrior and pulling back your hair and using something to outline your face on the mirrior. Then step away and look at the shape of your tracing.

it will eather look heart, oval, circle, or long shaped.

i dont know how you can tell what sunglasses will look good with it though.
