How can i tell what kind of vision i have?

my presciption box for the contacts has "-2" for both eyes?

It's your prescription for your eye exam. At least both of your eyes are equal but you still need correction if the doctor prescribes it. You have 20/20 which is supposed to be the ideal vision when corrected and by wearing the lenses.
