How can i title a scooter with a title from china?

I bought a scooter over the internet and it came with a title from china. the state i live in doesnt accept it so now I am stuck without a title, anyone else encounter this and can help?

If bought new and the  MCO (Manufacture Certificate of Origin) is not a conforming MCO, then there probably isn't anything you can do to title and register the scooter. It probably doesn't meet U.S. requirements or standards.

If that is not the case then maybe they need other paperwork.  All countries have different forms of ownership.   Maybe you didn't have the correct form or if it were in another language you may also need a certified english translation, custom papers, etc.

It may depend on why they won't accept the title.  If the bike and MCO do not conform to U.S. standards you may not be able to do anything, but if just didn't have the correct or all the forms then that may be different.
