I've never considered running until recently. I've never done anything running related, or any sport for that matter.

However, I perfer riding my bike over my car EVERYWHERE

and I do yoga and pilaties.

I'm a member of a gym so I have access to treadmills.

So I am in shape.

How can I start out running?

  1. go to a nearby track

start off with a warm up lap

start off slowly like 2x200 than 2x400

    (a 400 is a whole lap just in case u didn't know)

    practice 3-4 times a week

don't forget to eat right and load up on carbs (for energy)

and also set small goals each week, stay committed, and don't overdo it

    good luck!

  2. Well what I'd do is go to that gym every time you get a good chance.  Train your hardest but don't over do it. Little by little. If you eat healthy and take good care of your body then it will definitely  reward you!  So continue your training as you do.  But if you want to test your speed.  Ask someone for a race every day or every couple days you train and see if you improve on the speed of beating somebody.Or race a certain distance and aim for the shortest time everyday!

  3. just do it, get out there and start jogging, work your way up, a little at a time

  4. Put one foot infront of the other at a quicker pace.

Not hard. Just go out running

  5. cross country

    swimming

    swim team

    keep on riding your bike

    run

    walk (not the best)

    eat protein

    run with someone

read some books and see what they say

    get enough sleep

    good luck
