How can i train for volleyball?

i want to get into volleyball, but i want to raise my fitness level. are there any links that has a schedule of strength exercises i can do or exercises i can do to be ready for volleyball

  1. you can do alot of thing's when u practice just practice harder on the thing's u need 2 work on:)


  2. try getting in shape by taking a 30 minute run or a 15 minute bike ride OR try practicing volleyball with a friend THEN you will be ready!♣

  3. Check the library for volleyball magazine or order it, it has strength training that the pros do. I did athletico training and they had us run short [50m tops] sprints, agility [turning and sprint maybe 10ft, then turn and sprint another 10], jumps [one legged over a short cone or a mini hurdle], abs [alternating jack-knife, oblique crunches, planks...], wallsits, pushups...& those are just the exercises without equipment. check with athletico, they are perfect for what you're looking for- their workouts aren't so hard that you can't do them, they're more for your own pace and they prevent injuries.

  4. i think if u really love volleyball u should give a 100 % of u!

    go for a run everday... a 30 min run...

    wall sit...push up... and  try to pass to ur self.....

    u have to touc the ball aleast once a day!!

  5. No need to increase your fitness. It will automatically adjust when you play.
