  1. Take boxing lessons. That will improve your punch nad sparring will make you less vulnerable to punches. But the best way to withstand a punch is to avoid it. Cover up and dodge. With the right technique it will not be necessary to withstand pain.

  2. Get boxing lessons. They train you all the ways to take better hits and dish it back out.

Would you ask on a forum the best way to play a violin? or would you go get some lessons from a violin teacher?

    its that simple.

  3. Get married, you will learn to withstand pain.

  4. it's simply genetics. some people are born with good chins. you can also develop them, but a hard puncher will always put down a boxer with a good chin.

  5. To withstand a punch to the head/chin, all you can do is to build up the muscles in your neck.  The stronger your neck, the better able you'll be to withstand punches.  Fighters with a strong "chin" all have thick necks.  Learning to roll with punches might help too.

To withstand punches to the body, you have to do your best to strengthen your core musculature.  This is more involved than just doing crunches.  You'll have to google for a good core training routine, but it should include crunch-type exercises for the outer abs, leglift-style exercises for the transverse abs, bends for the obliques, twists for the rotational aspect of the core, and lower-back work like hyperextensions to balance it all out.
