Commit a crime so that you can be taken to a chinese prison camp where you can start a fight and begin whooping people. Then let some mysterious person in a suit find you and hike through the frozen mountains to a secluded training camp on the peak where Ras a' ghul will train you to become a ninja/samurai/shadow. Then torch the place and become batman.

the sword master would not even work with them until they had 18 months of training

he said without that much training (every day for a few hours) they would not have enough control to be able to act and do it safely

they did not really fight, it was rehersed, step by step, and he waited 18 months to train them

now what does that tell you?
