Depending on the phone that you're using there are three modes of data trasnfer between a mobile phone and the PC.

1) Bluetooth Wireless (Both your phone and the PC should support Bluetooth.

3) Infra Red

Most Nokia phones connect to the PC via cable. Once your phone is connected, you need software to transfer files to your phone. refer to you phone guide

see what all connectivity options your mobile has.

if it has bluetooth, then get a blurtooth dongle, install the drivers and softwares provided in the cd, power on the bluetooth in your mobile and start transferring the files from pc to mobile or vice versa.

if it has usb option then install the usb drivers and all if needed or just connect the mobile to the pc throught the data/usb cable and start transferring..

You need first of all an USB Cable and you need the right softeare.

You forgot the mantion what phone you have.

There is a program called

Phone2Disk. With tthat program you can transfer music to phone.

Look at the website of your phone for the right software or just google

Disk2Phone for name of your phone.
