How can i transfer data/files between two computers without connecting the actual computers?

one of the computers has a virus so im looking for something perhaps similar to email only not email cos theres a lot of files that need transferring

you could get an account with a website similar to esnips.com. you can store files there for free. up to 5GB. you can also copy any type of file to a cd or flash drive.

u can plug out the hardrive that have virus in it ,and plug that in to the other computer as a slave drive and copy a file u like to copy

The reality is that while one PC has malware you do not want to copy anything off from it until you can get it cleaned.  Otherwise you run the risk of infecting other harddrives.

On the infected PC run either of the two free scanners below.

This should get rid of malware.  If not you need to turn off system restore and then boot into safe mode.  Run your updated anti-virus program and then run your updated anti-spyware program(s).  Reboot, and see if everything is back to normal.  Don't forget to turn system restore feature back on.
