How can i transfer money from an American Express gift card to a Visa gift card?

Probably the only way you could do this is if you have a PIN for the American Express one that would allow you to withdraw the cash through an ATM.  That would probably involve a fee.  Then you'd have to purchase a VISA gift card and that would involve a fee as well.

Those are 2 different companies - basically what you are asking is as if you said that you have a Sears gift card and you want to transfer it to a Walmart gift card.  Sears doesn't want to give their money to Walmart so they're not going to help you out with that.  I hope this comparison helps you understand a bit better.

If you can get the cash off the American Express one, just keep the cash.  One less fee to pay.
