How can i transfer my music from one computer to another?

I DO NOT USE ITUNES.

i use windows media player.

we are getting a new computer at the end of the week. and i really don't want to lose my 2000 song library.

  1. Copy everything on CDs or DVDs and transfer them that way.

    or

    Set up a network connection with both computers and transfer to a share folder you create by following the network setup wizard.


  2. Two ways, First Burn them onto C.D's then when you get the new computer you can play them on it or transfer them by adding them to the new library, or you could buy a U.S.B data link which should come with software, and then simply move any information from one computer to another

  3. use cds, usb drives (portable), or if you have an eternet cord you can network the computers and transfer them

  4. Buy an ethernet cord and transfer it, or use USB/DVD's to burn and copy them. Or take out the hard drive and hook it up to the new computer.
