  1. Well here in Australia, to go to places you only need a passport and a plane flight.

Try asking your local travel agent about the laws in America.

  2. The USA Govt does not have to know about your trip to Cuba and they wont find out if you just go via a Third country

    for Instance

You could fly to Mexico city Or Cancun

and from There Catch a Daily Flight either with Mexicana Airlines or Cubana Airlines

    To Nassau Bahamas

from there fly with Cubana Airlines or Bahamas Air

You can also fly via Toronto,Montreal,Dominican Republic

but from these destinations flights aren't daily so it might be tricker to plan

for all reservations you can visit

    www.NashTravel.com

as far as documents Go..Cuba only requires a Valid Passport and a Tourist card that you buy either with your Air Tickets or at the Airport upon checking in

As Far as entry requirements go..if you Have a Valid US Resident Card no Visa will be required to enter either Mexico,Canada or the Bahamas. If you don't have a valid Resident card you will need to go to your nearest Mexican,Canadian or Bahamian Consulate to apply for a Visa

You don't require a Visa for the Dominican republic as an Ecuadorian citizen

Wish you the best of luck and if you need any more info just send me a message

    Happy Travels!

  3. I'm not sure if it's technically illegal for Americans to travel to Cuba.  I don't think it is, but you would be better to check around for that.

It is not illegal to spend American dollars in Cuba as someone mentioned.  You can bring them and even convert them while there, but don't expect a very good exchange rate.  You're better off changing your money into Canadian dollars first.

A common method for Americans to get into Cuba on holiday is to pass by way of Montreal.  Montreal has daily flights to Varadero (for example) on one of many different holiday destination airlines.  Check out http://www.redtag.ca/ and search around a little bit.  You may even find a very good deal especially this time of year.

  4. it means your flickering my knowledges, dont you know that if you travel going tru another country, you need a documents, for example. a passport.

  5. Even though you have an Ecuadorian Passport, you are residing in the US...that can still be an issue with the US.

You will most likely need a tourist visa. This is the link with the information you need:

    http://www.mexonline.com/visamex.htm

From Mexico or any other country you'll be travelling from, you will be provided most likely through the travel agent or airline with a tourist card (carta turista) for Cuba.

  6. Americans can travel to Cuba legally if you are a Cuban American, politician, journalist or if you have a research project regarding Cuba.  Others including students, religious groups, and humanitarians can apply for a license from the U.S. Treasury Department Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

In 1963, the US attempted to ban travel to Cuba, but that was found to violate the U.S. Constitution.  So there is no law against travel to Cuba. However, in 1982, the Reagan / Bush Administration, introduced regulations that prohibit the spending of money in Cuba.  The Supreme Court upheld those regulations in a 5-4 vote, saying that Cuba might use the American tourists' money for subversive activities.  Even if that were true in 1982, it is not true today!  So why are these regulations still on the books http://mises.org/story/1747

You can travel to Cuba, but it is illegal to spend American Dollars, The American Governemnt prohibits it but Cuba will accept it, Just convert all your american Dollars to Canadian Dollars and spend that
