How can i turn off the wireless part of my router

is there any way i can make my router not send signal wireless, and still keep the wired part working??

  1. log into the router using the routers ip address and disable broadcast or set WEP key to connect wireless router.


  2. Even if the router configuration software doesn't let you disable the wireless part of your router, you can usually unscrew the antenna(s) and put them away. Without the antenna, there's no wireless signal going out.

  4. go into the control panel of your router

    go to the wireless area

    it will have some type of drop down menu

    usually -  mixed , g only and disable wireless

    choose that

    hit ok
